It has been around for a while and the guy who started the blog wrote a book, but I just discovered the blog and the twitter. It is really LOL funny, but also full of wise quotes from someone who is old and has "been there and done that." It's like Don't Sweat the Small Stuff for the younger generation. I wish my dad (was around and) this awesome.

A sampling:
"Don’t focus on the one guy who hates you. You don’t go to the park and set your picnic down next to the only pile of dog s#$t."

"Stop trying so hard. He doesn't like you. Jesus, don't kiss an a$$ if it's in the process of s#$tting on you."

"No, I'm not a pessimist. At some point the world s#$ts on everybody. Pretending it ain't s#$t makes you an idiot, not an optimist."

"I just want silence. Jesus, it doesn't mean I don't like you. It just means right now, I like silence more."

"Nobody is that important. They eat, s#$t, and screw, just like you. Maybe not s#$t like you, you got those stomach problems."

I don't have the book, but I recently started following this guy on twitter, and some of the quotes are real gems.

That old coot is really funny. They are making a TV show from it with William Shatner. I expect it will be diminished by doing so, it always is.
