Brushing your hair causing intense sensations?

I don't know whether other Aspies/Auties get this specific brand of sensory weirdness, or just me. Whenever anyone (myself included) brushes through my hair, even just with fingers, it causes an extremely powerful sensation. I've come to be able to ignore it when I brush my hair, but it's still really breathtaking when I have time to take it slowly, or someone else does it.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

I experience the same feeling. It feels very strange.

OMG! I have the same thing... I HATE it. Every time I brush my hair, I feel like throwing my hair brush or breaking it. It's so awful. I try to keep my hair relatively short because of it, but I keep it a bob length, because I look too boyish otherwise. Ugh.

I just get a haircut with a lot of layers. I don't need to brush my hair. I just washed it though, and that is enough to make me feel bad.

I hate having anyone touch, brush or cut my hair. I cut my own hair since I learned how in about 1980 - a Wahl electric hair trimmer with a No. 8 all over and No. 4 around the ears and back does a neat "boy" cut.

Oh yes. Ask my mom. As a kid, she would try hopelessly to comb my hair, and I would scream so hard. It was a nightmare and super painful for me, which she never did understand. XD
I ended up walking around with very messy hair in grade school.

Now if someone touches my scalp– it's quite erogenous.

I have thick, dry hair. It gets many knots in it. I hate the feeling of brushing my hair, especially when I was younger, my mom did it, it got so bad. It hurts! I recommend Suave moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. No more knotty hair!!
