I'm living in the same room as my brother in university for one week. I can't stand it!! I feel like running away where I can be alone. This is only the first night!!

I know how you feel. I've been living on campus with my roommate for 2 weeks now and I miss all the privacy I used to have. I love my roommate but seriously, she never leaves except for class and to get food and sometimes she'll just eat her Easy Mac in the room. Sometimes I just need a minute for myself to cry or whatever and I rarely get it. :/

Yeah. I lived in a single dorm for the first two years, my roomie last year was rarely there and now I have the one who never leaves. So it's a transition for me. :/

I hope it gets better for you. :)

Ugh, that must be frustrating! I know all too well what that feels like...I can only handle being with a roommate if I have my own room and dequate time for myself.

Since you're sharing a room, maybe you could put on some headphones while he's around, and make a point to go outside for a walk whenever possible. Also, hit up the library, especially if it's a huge one. :D

Best of luck!

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Wow, he totally hijacked a conversation with one of my housemates. He's the one who is staying for only a week so in a way its not fair that he's doing that.
