This song by The Who reminded me a lot of the books I was reading by Donna Williams, Nobody Nowhere and Somebody Somewhere. Has anyone else read them?

This song immediately made me think of ASD. Any other thoughts? Any The Who lovers?

Y'know, I've always had a violent dislike for Pinball Wizard based on that line, for epitomising what this Troper would now call a Disability Superpower - "oh, poor thing, at least you have this marvellous skill to make up for it." 
Never bothered to investigate Tommy further, and consequently didn't realise it's supposed to be a false deafness, dumbness, blindness as metaphor for autism. Shucks. Will have to listen to the blasted thing now.
