Depends. When I'm working on something with other people or when I'm around strangers, I'm usually quite serious and down-to-business. Around friends and family and in a more casual context I can be exceedingly silly at times. The trick is to control my occasional sillyness so I can get work done while not controlling it so much that I have to release it in one big burst in a situation where this would be inappropiate.

Im very serious and have hardly any sense of humour, I can make jokes sometimes but I never laugh at others jokes. My daughter who has autism is always makeing jokes and has a very normal sence of humour and likes all the comedy films people generally like and is very scornful of my lack of enjoyment of such things and gets cross with me when I dont laugh at her jokes and even more cross when I take her jokes or tv jokes literally. I do like radio 4 comedy shows though and they often make me laugh out loud, but I cant abide the sitcoms they do.

Sometimes I am serious and people don't want me to be. They want me to laugh at the jokes and I have a blank look on my face. Perhaps I am frowning without realizing it. Other times I am sillier than average and they don't like that either. I am never in sync with whatever they are feeling.

I find it really depends on the situation. At work, or workingt at home on one of my projects I tend to be be quite serious and regimented.
But I do have a really silly side as well, with a totally warped sence of humor. Most NTs just don't get my strange sence of humer at all.

Yes and sometimes I am not. I have my sense of humor, I use sarcasm, I make jokes to make people laugh and to be funny.

Depends on what you mean by serious. If by serious you mean they feel the need to talk at people all the time instead of to them, then I would say as a group absolutely not. If by serious you mean more focused on figuring out what the problem is, and ACTUALLY SOLVING IT (you know, instead of just talking about it) then I would say yes, as a group they are more serious.

I'm serious when I'm doing my job at work, but when I'm on a coffee break, or posting on WP, I can be quite goofy and funny.

not necessarily but more precise.

people will think when you aim for precision that you are taking things too seriously.

also they will think this when you don't laugh at their unfunny jokes.
