Improvising pressure therapy for stress at work, etc.
Well, it's the end of the year and the pressure is on to tie everything up and get it out in time. I'm really struggling with the stress so I decided to see if I could improvise some pressure therapy that I could use at work to help calm me down.
All I'm really doing is wrapping an adhesive surgical bandage (the breathable kind – NB!) around my ribcage (I'm a woman so it has to go under the boobs). Nobody I work with has to know it's there.
The downside is a slight smell of wintergreen or something like that that comes on the bandage, but it's not distracting me more than the general noise in the office. If anybody asks about it, I've had back problems in the past and will blame it on that.
I'd want to do it around my upper arms but it's summer in my hemisphere and 30 degrees centrigrade, so i can't wear long sleeves to cover it up.
Has anybody done anything similar?

Thanks, Georgia!
Bit of an update on this morning's post. If you want to use an adhesive bandage for this be aware that you might be stuck with it for longer than anticipated, cos peeling it off is, suprise, suprise, rather painful. I've never been exactly known for my foresight
However, it seems to be working quite well. I find I prefer having it just across my back than wrapped right around my body.
