My 'neurodiverse is good, multiple niches' talk.

For the past week I've been wanting to have unstructured time to let my hair down, hole up, read and crochet. Very badly. Instead kept doing what I thought I should. Tonight had a potluck event that was a social obligation. Tomorrow will be out all day, too. Reluctantly took my rice pudding and left for the potluck. When I was about to step on the bus I realized the pudding had escaped the covered bowl into the bag and was sticky everywhere. Called to cancel, now with much relief am home. Will now do what I need to, to stay sane.

But why, oh why didn't I respect my needs sooner? (Rhetorical question).

change is hard, let me tell you I speak from experiance. you have to want whatever it is you want so bad that you "change". or so they say, do I buy it? no. because one persons experiance isnt relavent to your own
