Not all of us are gluten intolerant. I'm not picking on you, solid, but we do need to be careful about posting these broad generalities. A great many persons who are AS/Autistic are gluten intolerant, but not all of us are. However, all of the AS people in my family, (3, counting me) are female, left handed and have one of the common varieties of kinaestesia. The one cousin who is fully autistic (more RainMan than Monk, as his mother puts it, with a chuckle!) is male and left-handed.

I think maybe (in my purely unscientific way) it's that AS persons are predisposed to other additional unusual genetic twists, rather than we all have the same additional genetic twists.
