I play a game on my smartphone called "brain genius", which, as far as I can tell, is one of these standard games that challenges memory, reasoning, observation and calculation skills. I've gradually been noticing improvement in my scores (and the challenges get more difficult as you progress.

In most everything I do I'm left handed. Today, on a whim, instead of holding the phone in my right hand and using my left to enter the answers and perform tasks on the touch screen, I held the phone in my left hand and used my right to answer.

Beginning with the calculation exercises, I scored new high scores on 3 of the 4 games. I've heard that lefties are often right-brained (and creative/artistically inclined) and that many righties are left-brained (and more analytical). I tried the other categories of the game, and found similar results. out of 14 different games I scored new high scores on 10 of them. Not sure if I'm just having a good-brain day or what. I'm going to continue this experiment, but am interested in hearing from anyone out there with a similar experience or idea of what's going on here.
