I have taken another 1 month membership at the local pools/gym complex.
I am very familiar with the locals who frequent the spa, hot tub and saunas. I have had memberships there on and off for the last 10plus years, and used to swim a lot.
I stopped going 2 years ago, as a staff member who was a convicted manslaughterer of his ex girlfriends lover....... started to bully me.
I figured it was prudent to not go for a while, but now hes been fired and winter is here and the girls in bikinis have not lost their appeal on me 
Since learning of AS and ADHD and all that, about 1 year ago, I had not attended, so it was with new eyes, that I was shocked to discover that many of the guys who hang out there, are nearly all HFA, they dont workout but come to relax and chat, and feel included and social. A few ADHDers, and even a sociopath or 2 who tend to constantly prey on new blood..... and they are kept at arms length by the wary locals.
I know most very well. Many engineers, many alone and lonely, some not in work, some highly paid senior engineers. Less common the women, though many are foreign wanting to make new friends. Prolly fairly dangerous for a naive young aspie girl, we have a couple of older aspie women, very fit swimmers, one constantly does yoga in the sauna.
I helped eject a psychopathic older man with a strong business background, who is an alcoholic and a sexual predator. I waited till I saw a visibly distressed woman he had just spoken to, approached her about making a complaint. Without her testimony he would still be there, previous complaints about him were deflected.
Anyway, if your an aspie guy who lives near a public pools sauna complex, maybe your one has a small but thriving HFA bunch of locals.
The saunas clean and detoxify, and the social dynamics and relaxing atmosphere are reasonably aspie friendly for me.
Regarding anxiety, hot water soaking is better than cannabis, and the view aint bad 
even women go there to meet others
