Grrrr work.

Well things haven't been too good at work, due to total inefficiency and useless communication. I email my boss who says complain (knowing as I do that others feel the same).
So... I complain. Turns out it has created a whole heap of trouble and all the people that encouraged me to complain and said they felt the same suddenly are not there any more. In fact, they tell me that I have been too strong and upset a lot of people so maybe I won't have a job much longer. I hate NTs they tell me all their woes, and when I moan on my and their behalf suddenly I find myself facing the bullet on my own.
Why do we have to live with these people? Where is their honesty, and why don't they stick up in writing for what they say verbally?
I am so glad that I am an aspie because I know that I tell the truth. Others lie and weave their way around the truth. We are the lucky ones but in an NT world we are the unlucky ones as I will soon be saying when I lose my job and conditions are improved for the NTs on the back of what I have said.

Sounds to me that you are being used by others to challenge the authority at the top, maybe because of your strong naive nature. That's not your role. Your job isn't to provide a political backstop for your boss. If your boss has a problem higher up, then that's something he has to address, not you. You may reach a point in your job where you are not receiving support from this particular boss and at that point you may have to quit. Just make sure you have another job to go to.

There is an art to complaining. You need to do it in a way that doesn't sound like you're complaining e.g. "I'm very concerned about the difficulties with communication we've been experiencing. This has led to..(give specific examples of how miscommunication has affected the work you do). I feel that this has been detrimental to the company because..(always bring it back to the company). Is there any way these problems can be resolved?"
I went through a whole sh*tstorm last year in my job, which taught me a lot about dealing with people. You can't be too careful with what you say. Emails and written communication especially can be used against you.

I can think of three different times in my career where I was setup to take a bullet. Sometimes I was able to dodge it, sometimes not. But somehow or other I'm still here.

It's best to avoid retelling what other people say. If they want to, they're capable of speaking for themselves. Just stick to your own thoughts and feelings.

I've known a lot of people with jobs who freely admit that their bosses treat them very badly, but they rarely tell their bosses that, and they rarely do anything serious to get any of the injustice changed. I guess they're scared they might lose their jobs. I've also seen how when one person gets militant and takes one step forward, everybody else takes a step back.

I don't particularly blame NTs. I blame the free market system. I don't know what could be put in its place, but it seems obvious to me that while ever there's a free market, there will be a lot of shameful tyranny from company bosses. Trade unions ought to help, in theory, but they're either not strong enough or they end up as just another corrupt hierarchy.
