Yesterday I was standing in line at a take out place.
Suddenly a tap on my shoulder.
Immediate tension, and man leans into my personal space and whispers:
"See that? Used to call that a turtle skirt: 2 inches from the snapper"
Eventually I realize he's pointing to a 15 year old girl in the next line.

I had no response. When the line moved forward I gave up and left the store instead.

Eventually I decode what his sentance means.
Random touch is bad enough, but touch by random stranger in order to share his perversions?

It isn't the first time something like this has happened. It isn't the second. It's frequent. And it's people who don't look scary or strange who are doing it. It's normal next door type guys.

And it isn't the only time I've seen way too old men eyeballing way too young women (frig - every single man eyeballing every single woman) out in public.
Either thinking they're being secretive, or
Nodding to me with a smirk and a wink, or
Just outright being lewd and not even hiding it from the girl/woman.

And this is the "society" people want me to be a part of?

I'd say, no matter how common that kind of mentality is, there are other people and other ways of thinking. Perversion isn't in the majority.

A bunch of antisocial people gathered together doesn't make a society. Keeping looking for good people, I guarantee you'll find them.

This seems to happen all the time, and yet not once has one of my friends told me that someone made a creepy sexual remark about me :/

'Society' did not fail, the man did. Don't judge a system by its failures.

creepy...but it seems pretty common for guys to be drooling their pervesions all over jailbait.

More than one occasion have I had grown older men who I didnt know just come up to me and open mouth kissed me...gross
One time, I was 16 and the guy that grabbed me and laid one on me was in his 30's
I should have told my mom cause she was nearby, but I was too embarrased.
The other time, I was walking on the track and an older guy started talking to me. He seemed like a great guy, but as I was departing, he grabbed me and said "give daddy a kiss" and planted one on me. I wa soo creeped out.

Sexual abuse of women is epidemic. I partially blame the media for that.
