I tried to edit the options, as these weren't very well thought out, but I guess it was too late. Oh, well! Hopefully, everybody gets the idea here.

Just interested to know how far-flung people are from their hometown and/or immediate family. Is there, perhaps, a disproportionate percentage of people on the spectrum who have distanced themselves logistically from family?

My closest member of family of origin is 600+ mi away and my children live farther away from me than that.

I moved east because my career was centered in this geographic area and my kids moved south for climate (they're sailors). All NTs.

I live w/ my family when not at university and my uni is about a half hour from my parents/other family... my family is too close.

I live with my parents. But my parents live about 600 miles away from their parents.

I don't know how many miles it is, it's about the distance between the Canadian border and the Mexican border. Except we're all one Pacific ocean away from our hometown. We're first generation immigrants. Either way it's more than 1000 miles. I think the Pacific ocean is over 5000 miles wide.

I live 55 kilometers (34 miles) away from my parents and my sister, but I see them frequently, almost every weekend. In fact, sometimes it takes more time to go to work.

I'm currently living with them (because I'm only 17) but when I do move out I want to be within 20-50 miles of them. Not too far away of course but far enough to seem fairly independent

Far enough away to discourage impulsive visits, but close enough to get there in 24 hours if I have to.

A couple of minutes walk from my Mam, about the same for my dad (they're divorced). That might make it sound like I live in a small town. Not the case at all.
