I would like to add that the font on this forum is much too big and if I type a 5 paragraph response like I generally do, it comes out ginormous. The font should be maybe...10 points.

There does seem to be too many stickies. Most of them look like the shouldn't really be stickied in the first place.

The font size looks fine to me, though. It looks like the same size as on every other web site I go to.

The font is too small.

In browsers on the PC, control + or - will change font size. Some sites use style sheets to set size and won't allow font size changes (oh, inaccessibility, how I hate you), but as far as I can tell WP doesn't do that.

I usually don't pay much attention to sticky threads. I tend to scroll past them and go straight to the standard threads that aren't sticky threads. If sticky threads are meant to capture my attention---they don't. In fact it causes me to usually ignore them.

Yes, I almost always skip them, too.

There are so many sticky topics at the top of this forum that I can only see three non-sticky topics when I first load the page. I know that I have to scroll down to see new topics.

I would have a single sticky topic with links to each of the topics that are currently sticky. I would call the topic "important topics".

That way the current sticky topics would still be easily accessible, but wouldn't interfere with people trying to view other topics.

As for the font size, the perception of font size is likely to be different for people using different devices. For example, a person with a small screen may think that the font is too big, but a person with a large screen may think the font is too small. I use a 27" screen, and the default font size looks very tiny. Many devices like phones and iPads also display font sizes differently than many computers. If Alex is going to change the default fonts and font sizes I would prefer that he change them back to what it used to be, but other than doing that I wouldn't recommend changing the font sizes.

I agree, they are a bit excessive. They start loosing their meaning when there's too many.

If there's one or two sticky threads, I might check them out. But not as many as there are here.
