Ha, it's me with another question
I often twitch. Particularly in bed, before falling asleep, or if I feel really bad. But I might twitch during the day too. It's not like one little muscle or eye twitching, although I get that too. It's a very fast, involuntary contraction of major muscles that would make my entire limb or body move. No one I know twitches like that.
During the day it would usually be my arm/shoulder or the neck (head), sometimes a leg. It can sometimes be so quick that it may cause me to knock something off of the desk.
At night, when lying down, the twitching sensation would come more often from inside my torso and upper legs, like stomach muscles, causing my entire body to twitch in jack-knife like motion.
The twitch can sometimes be so violent that it might pull a muscle or tendon and it'll hurt for a while.
If I feel depressed or anxious it turns into more like spasms. I don't have any other motor problems, pretty much normal movement, dexterity, etc.
Does anyone here experience that? I'm starting to think that maybe I don't have AS but something else or a combination of conditions.
