Yeah , I head that we aspies usually have a strange facination or talent . My facination is researching controvercial things . And my talent is writing , when I set my mind to it .
Mundane ,accepted things tend to be boring and lame , if something is not tossed aside or found wierd by normies/muggles than it looses interest .
Also my main social problem is that I hate authorities and laws of governments unless they suit me ,

what are your talents and pet peeves ?

I mean , I follow the rules of private groups and such ,but I dont like being told what to do by someone who was ordained by "someone" or "something " else . Also , I put my faith in my self rather than some "authority " and follow my own heart ,but I am willing to join and follow private organizations and clubs provided they think like me .
Do many autistic people feal a strong detatchment from authority figures and sociaties rules and structure ? Or do many of us blindly bow before the Tyrant ? I tend to offend many people with controvercial politics ( basically I believe that I rule my own world and only my rules are just and people are welcome to follow me ,but I have no lords over myself ,so basically I rule my self ,Im not a megalomaniac with dreams of world domination .I may seek folowers but not "subjects ".) I offend people religiously , ( I used to be a "levayan" satanist ,then attempted christianity , then went to paganism or thelema). Ive got the wierdest "heroes " : aleistor crowley ( for being an extream free spirit and not caring gabout what people thought of him ) and Marilyn Manson (for similar reasons ) .

I have a strange fascination with license plates. I like to see who's from out of state. I see a lot of Massachusetts license plates, but then I see one that says New York or Florida, and it stands out. I also like plates where the letters spell out a word.
When I was in high school, I loved cartoons, especially Warner Bros. ones. For Christmas one year, my mother bought me a big book on the history of animation. I also love movies, so she bought me a book about the Oscars for Christmas one year.

I have a bizarre fascination with pregnancy and childbirth. I've had it for as long as I can remember. What makes it especially strange is that I have absolutely no desire to have children of my own - I just like seeing or reading about other women who are pregnant/giving birth. I enjoy incorporating this fascination into my special interests - for example, my primary special interest is Tim Burton's movies, so I like to imagine characters from those movies being pregnant, and what it would be like when they gave birth.

As if that wasn't bizarre enough, it's not just the female characters I imagine in those scenarios; I also get great enjoyment out of imagining the male characters in those scenarios (probably even moreso than imagining the female characters that way).

To answer your other questions: I'm told I have natural talents for writing and piano-playing, but I put all of my effort into drawing and painting because that's what I'm passionate about.

My pet peeves are people making fun of or being disrespectful towards anything or anyone I love, being asked to do favors, and having my artwork criticized (even though I know it's good for me as an artist).

Mine is, oddly enough, amusement rides.

I know it's not weird to want to ride them or to like seeing them at the fair.

However, my interest goes more into the motion of them and the inner workings of them as well.

I always did well in school if the teacher had a structure. My third grade teacher didn't understand the meaning of that word and there was never any consistancy in her class. That was my worst school year ever.

My strangest obsession would definatly have to be the nasal turbinates of animals.
