My reaction to sarcasm/ not being litteral

I find that I can Tell when some one is kidding or whatever, but I reply or take it litteraly because I just see it as a natural response to answer any question or statement truthfully, even though I know that they are kidding. I'm not good explaining my thoughts but the gist is "I know your sarcastic but I will reply as though it was litteral because that's just how I roll." any one else like this or can you really not detect sarcasm at all?

And a lot of the time I really don't get it. I'm good at creating sarcasm, not so good at interpreting it.

Yes, it's part of my bizarre sense of humor.

I always miss sarcasm, unless it's very obvious. I normally just answer seriously though just in case. Then if i did miss the sarcasm, no harm done. Everyone already calls me Sheldon cooper.

My sense of humour is sarcastic.

Although sometimes I can't detect other people being sarcastic - especially if it's out of context and I'm not expecting sarcarstic humour, or especially if I just don't know the people.

A lot of the time, I reply to a sarcastic comment or question with a literal answer, only to see people looking at me and saying something along the lines of "ah right" a bit awkwardly.

EDIT: I should mention, I am not diagnosed with an ASD.
