When your house gets turned into a film set.

Yes, that's just what's happening today. I'm in my bedroom with only (thank God) a cable running through my floor and over my balcony. There's a huge bright light shining through my glass balcony doors. I'm wearing ear phones and listening to music and have a bunch of small meals and snacks on top of my dresser.
I've got a bunch of things planned like reading, watching dvds, taking scores of Ritalin (or the usual 10mg) and just browsing the internet until 6pm. A day like this makes me wish I played World of Warcraft.

So yeah, downstairs there's like 50 people, cameras and machines that make very loud noises I can hear over my music.

And I need to go to the toilet.

So, how's your day been so far?

Or...you could could look at it as a grand opportunity. Go downstairs, introduce yourself, kinda jokingly ask and see if they need any help on the set. You never know.

What EXACTLY is going on in your house? An episode of "Ghosthunters"?! :)
Sounds stressful, I would be outside somewhere ELSE..

That sounds like a recipe for frustration and overload.

You could play World of Warcraft for a few days. I think you can play for free up to 20th level. Other MMOs are free to play (City of Heroes, Champions Online, Star Trek Online, Lord of the Rings Online, just to name a few that come to mind).

Of course if you just meant that sarcastically, oops.

Mmm...Star Trek online sounds tempting. I was a Star Wars TOP tester but I never went on it.
I'm waiting for that Stargate SG-1 Halo mod to to be released. No, I don't play Halo...yet.

And yes, it was sarcasm.

I don't want to get in the way. I've been a photographer at live-to-air shows it was so awkward trying not to get in the way.
I don't want to help out i.e with the set. I'm interested in film but not that interested.
Anyway, my meds have worn off and I can either take more or sit and moan. I'll go for the moaning.

And I'm not high functioning enough to be comfortable with the amount of people downstairs. I can talk to one on their own but that's it. The house is so messy too.

I just heard an infant toddler. Oh god, what is going on downstairs.

I have my chocolate and more snacks up here and a couple hours to waste away.

Why not? I'm out of the house mon-fri from 0745-1815 for work, I could easily manage to stay away from home that long if it was unpleasant to be there.

You work. I don't. I'm not used to those type of hours. The first day of filming I went to Wollongong, spent a whole bunch of money and got back exhausted. I'm not good with the feeling of exhaustion so I didn't want to go back to Wollongong. I also didn't want to spend that much money again. I would. Especially because I have my eyes set on more Doctor Who merch.

It's very sensory overwhelming in the city too.

I can imagine myself sitting on a chair, shotgun in hand (pointed in a safe direction, of course), just 'cause (it's legal, as it'd be in my house).

It'd make people feel as uncomfortable as I would with them being around. :P

Ah, if only it were legal here.

It's over now. I just hope they clean the mess up.
