DD is helping with the local special olympics

My oldest daughter is a senior in high school. It's either her class or the Anchor Club that's doing this. There is going to be a local special olympics on Friday with kids from our county schools and some other schools that have special kids. It's going to be held I think, in our high school gym (two years old so it's great!)

My daughter is helping and she's really looking forward to it. She needed yarn for some reason, and I didn't have any that I'm not planning on using so she went out and bought some. She's making cupcakes and cookies to take too. I don't know exactly what she's going to be doing and neither does she, but she said that the teacher is putting her somewhere with food. She's got the cutest little apron that she got for Christmas from her fiance's family that she's taking to wear. The bottom is like a French Maid's uniform apron but it's longer and comes to her knees. It's got black with white dots and ruffles with white with black dots. It ties in the back in two bows and it's got a bib that ties behind her neck. The bib is black and has her first initial embroidered on it. She's gonna be so cute!

I didn't know if I should put this here or in Random. I put it here because it's the special olympics she's helping at and I've never seen one or been to one or anything, so I'm not sure what goes on at the local level. I think this is a just for fun thing and not affiliated with the actual sports special olympics.

I'll let ya'll know how it turned out, and if somebody can help me, I'll post pics that she gives me after. She's big on picture taking. I don't have an account at a hosting site or anything and don't want one, but if someone who has one wants to help out and post them for me, let me know.
