Hey gang,
I have been observing many different social skills groups lately involving children with Asperger's. I was just wondering what the best advice anyone ever gave you about making friends in school and connecting with peers. Thanks!,
Nikki

Be interested in the other person, or at least act interested. Friendship is a two-way street. It's not all about you. You have to give some and take some.

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.
