I am a fairly neurotic person by nature, and require strict adherence to my schedules, or extensive details about any change of plan. Most of the time I can live with this, but every once in a while a wave of inexplicable anxiety hits me with no apparent cause; I'm fine one minute, and feeling strong physical sensations of anxiety the next for no reason at all. Do any of you have this problem? Is it AS related, or symptomatic of some form of GAD? How did/do you get a handle on it? I have situations that are ingrained parts of my routine, and yet every time I go to perform them, even though they're perfectly safe, I've done them a million times before, and I enjoy doing them, I get inexplicably anxious about going, and I have no idea why. It's getting to be a nuisance; any thoughts/comments on the cause?
