OK, December is nearly upon us and I'm trying to get my yuletide gifts bought. One of my friends, who may have AS, has had his eye on this book, so I get it for him. It occured to me that it may appeal to some of the people here or their nearest and dearest, so Here's a link to it on amazon. It's called "Infrastructure" and it documents the industrial features that keep civilization going (trains, power stations, roads etc). Brilliant photography and lots of very interesting text. It may be cheaper elsewhere- e.g. www.abebooks.co.uk

Please use this thread to post other gift ideas for those on the spectrum.

All Aspies have different interests. All I can do is list my own wish list, which will never happen, as my family insists that my gift ideas are "no fun."

1/Book card for any online store
2/Gift card from any place that has computer cartriges. I burn threw tham at a rate of about one every four days.
3/tickets to see the Green Bay Packers (Sports is an obsession of mine and, although this is not considered "no fun", they are way expensive and hard to get, and you have to pay jacked up prices.)
These are the things I'd like the most. Also making me happy would be very soft bathrobes, night clothes, sock, etc. (emphasis on soft). I also am very sensory and love really nice smelling candles.

I'd just be happy with a shiney new replica of a Routemaster, even if the giver only spent between $12 and $40 on it. That would mean more to me, than $100 worth of stuff that I'm not going to use.

Go for the special interests. :D Sola's list is big on books, including an incredibly comprehensive dog mythology book by Mariah Leach that is now out of print.
