Meltdown during camp
I went to a camp this summer. During it we played this game where we ran around the woods and had to do this capture the flag like game. What they didnt telluse was that campconsiler would run around in terafying costumes. One of the consilers grabbed my arms and put them behind my back. Then another came up with a knife covered in blood and tried to stab me ( fake knife apparently). I kicked the guy olding me in the groan with a back kick and dropped down and started crying and rocking. I held my hand on my ears and closed my eyes tight. The cosilers tried to calm me down. I dont remember what happened with the conpletly. All i know is they took there masks off and sat down telling me its was just them and it was a fake knife. I was so embarressed but i was just crying and crying. They tried to get me to stop crying or something. Other people came to help and i calmed down after a whule. Was that a scardy cat moment or a ASD moment? Has anyone else had something like this happen to them.

From your other posts, it appears you scare rather easily. Perhaps you should work with a counselor to learn how to better analyze a situation, and put things in perspectivem before you react.
I am very very awfully bad at logic. I have broken so so many bones from doing cr*p like climbing weak trees, doing crazy bike jumps, ext... I never ever actually think before i react. I dont know why it is. I keep telling myself i need to think so i dont end up in a cast again but, when it comes down to the moment i dont even hesitate. I am also very gulible. I beileve everything people tell me. I never doubt people and cant get sarcassim. I just cant understand. Is there someone i can get help from? Or is the just aspergers

That was neither a scaredy cat moment or an ASD moment.
Honestly,if two guys in masks ran up to me, pinned my arms behind me and pointed a bloody knife at me a sore groin would be the least of their problems.
I would have proceeded to find the nearest largest clubbing branch within reach and bashed their skulls in.
Or ran screaming like a little girl...definitely one of those two things.
Getting a gorilla mask and jumping out from around corner to startle someone is a prank.
Proceeding to then pin this persons arms behind their back and brandish a bloody knife at them is no longer a prank.
Frankly it was amazingly stupid and not something two responsible adults in charge of the safety of a dozen teens should do.
Any number of bad things could have happened as a result.
From them being beat to death to you running away and tripping on a sharp stick...that is now inside you...and your dying.
Yah, not so funny now is it.
You should prolly sue. emotional damage, reckless endangerment and all.
That's sort of a joke, but your parents should do something about their actions.
They need to get in some kind of trouble for it.
My mom did talk to them and they claimed in the game if you get "stabbed" it marks a color on your cloths or something. Then since its night your supposde to go back to your base thing and get the rest of them or sonething. Then they said the explained the rules and even though i am sure they didnt thourghly my mom says maybe i didnt listen well enough. I was so mad at her. I had thought she would have taken my side. Anyways i am never going back to that camp again

Wow, what a godawful thing to do.
It's one thing telling someone that you're going to do this, and a totally different one when not told.
The emotional trauma of having someone bound you and threaten you have a "knife". That'd be awfully scary and traumatizing.
Plus the several really bad outcomes, such as:
Hunter walks by, "protects" the "attacked" kid
"attacked" kid pulls a pocket knife and stabs before anything can be said
attacked kid grabs a rock and bashes before anything can be said
et cetera

Oh my goodness, that sounds terrifying....if I'd had no idea that was going to happen, I probably would have reacted the same way you did. And I can probably think of some other people who would react the same, ASD or no ASD.

I experienced a similar thing in a camp when I was younger. We were walking through the woods at night and one of the adults told us in a very serious manner that a mentally disturbed convict had escaped and might be hiding in that wood. I, totally unable to notice when I'm being lied to, could only stumble through the wood in sheer horror after that (though I tried not to show). Turns out pretty much all of the other children were aware that this was just a joke, while I had the worst night of my life. And they call that fun. ![]()

That's why there should be a camp where the people in charge don't lie to the people who go there, because they never know who might be unable to know the difference between them telling a lie or the truth. Just be glad that there really wasn't a mentally disturbed convict. It would have been a horrible night for everyone.
But Pokelover, the response you had is a response any person would have had, well, with the exception of putting up a fight and causing serious damage to the people who scared you.
