I have this really immature urge to draw little smiley faces everywhere. It's not really an obsession, I just do it a lot. I draw cute smiling faces on my school stuff, on steamed up windows and even on my body (hands, legs...) It makes me happy in a very childish way.

Do you do something similar?

Are you sure it's immature? Well, I guess most adults don't do that but I draw smiley faces in condensation or frost on glasses, cups, and windows. I like to do it more when there's someone who will see it, part of my pleasure from them is causing someone else to smile. I draw smiley faces in my journal. Once I saw a smiley face someone else had drawn on a hymnal and it made me smile when I was having a depressing morning. I focused on that little smile. I recently put a smiley face in my dad's food, I used to do so more often, but I still think it is fun. (I used a fork, not my finger, my dad wouldn't have appreciated that. ;) ) I've drawn smiley faces on my fingers with a pen.
I draw sad smilies when I'm depressed-there's one scratched into my table. Maybe I should put a smiling one next to it for a balance of emotions and to keep it company.

The type of drawing you describe is called "Doodling." Lot's of people of all ages doodle. Sometimes it's completely random, and other times it can be favorite things. Doodling keeps the hands and part of the mind occupied when people are bored or stressed. There is no harm in it, as long as you don't draw where you shouldn't, and don't draw something offensive. Defacing other people's property is a big no-no, but just doodling for fun is harmless, so have fun. :D
