Does anyone have any suggestions for safe but intense touch? I really like my weighted blanket, very tight hugs, rough textures. I go through patches where I crave intense touch, though don't have enough safe methods of getting this.

weighted blankets are a good way indeed, but there are others.
especially in winter, when you can wear hoodies, put something heavy in the front pouch, a literbottle of soda works nicely, this way the hoodie will press down quite strongly on your shoulders, simular to wrapping a weighted blanket around them.
other then that; it might be a good thing to explain your need for deep touch fo some trusted friends, and ask if they can give strong hugs when you really need it (female friends are better for this, as it is more socially accepted for women to hug then man on man)

It depends on whether you are "fiending" for localized touch or generalized touch. For the former, I'd recommend an object you can carry about without much/any notice that you can press against the part of your body that you want the localized pressure on (my choice items are displayed below). For pressure that covers a large portion of the body, weighted vests or any heavy garment can be quite effective (though the weighted vests on the market weren't heavy enough for me, didn't have the weight where I needed it and were often too loose around the shoulders and sides, hence the reason why I wear body armor).

Thanks. Those are some great suggestions - I hadn't thought of finding something I can carry with me.

I think general pressure is what I want the most, however intense local. Sensory input is a good substitute. Do you have any other suggestions of (socially acceptable) things that I can carry with me that are small, heavy and rough?

I also like hugs, and for touch input while I sleep, I use my soft Cars blanket and my heavier Nemo blanket. I like the idea of a weighted vest, too.

Another kind of sensory input I liked when I was younger was from those things that were like a bunch of rounded nails in a case that you could put things in to make an impression...and then the nails would return to normal when you turned it over. I liked to press my face into the nails, and they felt nice and cool, and gave me a soothing feeling of my face feeling "surrounded."

The nails sound good.

Just arrived home to find an industrial sized bag of poly pellets. I don't think anyone's ever been so happy about the delivery of plastic pellets.

Remember those semi-hard rubber spike bracelets they used to sell at night clubs? Those are rather nice to press on the skin (though metal ones are better). Pyramid studs work nicely also and won't make you feel terribly awkward (I know many NTs who flip their bracelets around when talking or bored). Metal keychain ornaments may be appropriate as well, though not necessarily heavy.
