It's interesting that you have a username Zombie.. but you are scared of corpses. I don't blame you for being scared - I thought everyone except funeral directors and medical people were (and murderers).
I don't think they can force you to be with the body, just say you have a medical condition which makes you easily phobic and you can't do it. Even if they are angry with you or feel that you are letting them down, better than having to sit with a dead body.
