I read here recently about a man who had sensory issues about personal space with particular regard to large people. I was curious if there are others with AS that had this issue, and if you do would you like to share your experience?

I find I can be very easily overwhelmed in the london underground with passengers with bags and children running around.

I was curious if negotiating personal space and fear of being invaded were aspie issues?

Yeah, I generally have issues with crowds and people standing too close to me, so big people sitting next to me on the bus and things, taking over my space really drives me crazy. I think it's sort of half an aspie issue, because most people don't enjoy having their space invaded, but due to sensory issues or problems with touch, I think it bothers aspies more than ordinary people.

I do somewhat have issues being really close to people I don't know. Being one of those large people, I hate having to squeeze between two people because it's just awkward.
