Do u have any sort of chronic pain?

What is the chance of these disorders merely having to do with sensory over-sensitivity?

What are your experiences?

I have Ehlers-Danlos, which most people find to be extremely painful. I'm typically more or less fine though. (Unless I actually do anything....)

"Coat-hanger pain" (neck and shoulders) -- dysautonomia leading to insufficient blood flow to the upper body. It takes an hour on my feet for it to set in, though.

I didn't have a name for it for years, and actually wondered if it was due to over-sensitive nerves, but the "coat hanger pain"/dysauto. profile fits very well (and I have a definitive diagnosis of DA).

I'm on a large dose of amitriptyline, though, which is sometimes used in small doses to treat oversensitive nerves. But it actually makes the pain worse, probably because at the dose I'm on it lowers my blood pressure even more.

I have fibromyalgia, but it's likely that I just inherited it from my mother.

People have reported success treating all the above conditions using cannabinoids.

Apart from scoliosis, for that you should look into ashtanga yoga.

my scoliosis is too advanced [the bones have grown warped to the point where surgery and rods are required]. not practical, other than to strengthen my upper body to take the load off my spine, which is what i have done. you see, back in the stoned age when i was a kid, schools here didn't routinely do scoliosis screenings. if they had, i'd have been one of those kids you may remember in school who had to wear the bulky back brace everywhere. i wish i were one of those kids. part of the reason i got the scoliosis is another un-dx-ed problem i have, which is one leg an inch shorter than another. i feel like i have been assembled on a monday morning or friday afternoon out of the left-over cast-off parts in the reject bin.

Chronic tension headaches because of sensory overload with (non-chronic because of avoidance of triggers) migraines with many of my triggers being sensory added onto it.
