47, and one of the question is tricky: you avoid communication except online and avoid going out. i do avoid communication, (for obvious reasons) but dont avoid going out at all, in fact, i love going out and do that a lot, whether it's necessary or not. so i wrote occasionally, which is somewhere in the middle...
also, they asked about memory fading, and mine is ever since i turned 40, which is normal. that's what i've been told by others over forty and what i read online.

Your points: 51.

This test sucks! So many questions asks multiple things at once, making it hard to interpret an answer. For example:

Quote:
Sometimes you sing when you are alone, or you repeat the words of songs in your mind, over and over. Anyway, you are not bothered by not knowing some words of the songs you sing.

I often sing to myself, and it really bugs me when I don't know the words. I end up looping on a small bit that I do know the words for, and getting really aggravated. But when I do know all/most of the words, I greatly enjoy singing songs I like to myself.

I only got 40.

But 6000 ppl did better than I did- if that makes the original poster feel better.

But I like that question about 'do you kill time doing stuff like playing solitaire, or surfing the net to avoid doing important things?"

In other words: "do you hangout on wrongplanet and take inane online tests instead of calling your boss and discuss why you havent gotten a promotion ( like im trying to psyche up myself to do this week)?" Had to check "frequently" for that! Guilty as charged!

Lol!

45... mostly from the earlier questions, before most of the "inner voice" questions.

71 but has it says at the end of the test, and I shall quote:

"This does not mean that you are definitely at risk for schizophrenia. It is possible that your lifestyle has specific effects on your mind, and this, in turn, distorts the result."

So yeah, this test should not be taken too seriously.

I got 43.

Those questions were very strange, like arguing with an "inner voice". I'll think things over and occasionally I'll know that I'm supposed to do something and really not want to do it, so I'll argue with myself in my head that it's not that important, but some of those questions were really leading. With many questions I wanted to answer yes to part of the question and no to a different part.

It's difficult for me to take this test honestly. I want the score to be high so it biases my answers a bit. I put never for symptoms I obviously don't notice but if I would honestly put frequently I worry I might bump it up to always. Or I might bump an occasionally up to frequently.

Anyway, my score was 65.

Quote:
Your points: 65.
A normal result is 15 to 65 points.

Your result is beyond the range of normal values.

This does not mean that you are definitely at risk for schizophrenia. It is possible that your lifestyle has specific effects on your mind, and this, in turn, distorts the result.
You should analyze the factors that, in your opinion, could have a decisive influence on such a high result on the test. In the future, these factors may cause irreversible changes in personality, which can lead to pathologies.
It appears that you may have a predisposition to addiction - smoking, alcohol or gambling. It is important to understand that this test does not measure many of the physiological factors that have a decisive influence on the result of diagnosis. At the same time, if you honestly answered all the questions, the test result gives you a reason to think about your lifestyle and to learn more about your own personality.

In general, you are more prone to schizophrenia than 25067 people who have passed the test in the last 30 days.

If I consider that I may have overstated a couple of values it could be as low as 59 but I'm taking the test one more time to see.

Question 14 was confusing but the other question mentioning inner voice wasn't as bad. I assume that since this is for people who don't already have schizophrenia it means your inner dialogue. The second question about arguing with your inner voice was something I could relate to more than making decisions after discussion with myself. I had a much higher answer to question 17 than question 14.

I just took the test a second time to make sure I didn't overstate values. I got 63 instead.

Quote:
Your points: 63.
A normal result is 15 to 65 points.

Your result is at the top of the range of normal values. This may reflect the possible negative tendencies in the future due to the intensification of the effects on your personality of the factors which influence you are exposed to in your daily life.
This result also shows that you are most likely exposed to excessive mental stress. It may be that your body has accumulated a lot of fatigue, and you need to get rid of it. You appear to have no predisposition to schizophrenia.
It is important to understand that this test does not measure many of the physiological factors that have a decisive influence on the result of diagnosis. At the same time, if you honestly answered all the questions, the test result gives you a reason to think about your lifestyle and to learn more about your own personality.

In general, you are more prone to schizophrenia than 23082 people who have passed the test in the last 30 days.

Yeah, there inner voice questions are strange.

Sometimes you rehearse what you're going to say to particular other person in your life, and you imagine that person speaking to you- and getting angry and interrupting every two words- and you have an inner shouting match in your head. I dont think thats unique, nor indictative of anything.
