I have grapheme-colour synesthesia, I see words and letters in different colours, as well as seeing days of the week and months of the year in particular points in space. For a long time it's just been what it is, my brain sees pretty colours, whatever, but recently I've been wondering if there was a way for me to use this ability to my advantage, particularly where studying for school is concerned. Others with this condition, do you have any suggestions for things I could do to make synesthesia useful?

The only positive thing I've managed to do with it was get a higher score in the number/letter memorization tasks on the WAIS.
