I frequently have issues with soap residues. Drives me bonkers/increases my anxiety

Today, I was wearing a somewhat heavy denim shirt, and it it made me feel sedated -- I don't like that.

Do you mean laundry soap? You can buy ones that are gentle on your clothes and don't leave much residue. It could also be that you're using too much detergeant or fabric softener. I notice that really strong fabric softeners can leave a slimy feel to clothes.

No, I mean shower/hand soap and hair shampoo. Certain kinds leave residues behind, and drive me nuts. I also dislike fabric softeners -- especially the smell.
