Post special interest blues

I've had a special interest that's been constantly up and down from the beginning and now after about eight months (which is a lot longer than I had expected it to last) I think it may have finally gone. I feel really down and don't really know what to do with myself. I miss the interest and both want to get it back and don't want it back. But one of the worst bits is this after-interest blues that I've got, I don't really know how to soent my spare time and generally feel down. Does anyone have any tips on how to deal with it?

Well I have AS but I don't think I have the special interest trait. Have you got a job? I have a job & it's a really good way to pass the time. Don't put limits on yourself & start looking for a new interest. : )
