When doing one thing and thinking about something else I can get really clumsy, for example ironing a creased shirt I dropped the tip of the iron on my knee.
I have smashed countless glasses.
Dropped my phone numerous times, although its not damaged the screen, hopefully it won't be.
Fallen up the stairs, and down.
Burnt myself with straightners.
The list goes on..
Let me hear if you are clumsy or accident prone.

I tend to stub my toe a lot.

I've broken a few glasses in my time----both drinking glasses and personal glasses.

Excuse me a moment while I survey the aftermath....

Today's roll call is:
- Large round bruise on my upper left thigh in beautiful variegated shades of purple and yellow (Corner of the dining table? It usually is.)
- A scabby graze on my left shin; (I HATE COFFEE TABLES! )
- Several parallel scratches on my left calf (Attempt to gracefully step over bramble stems. Right foot preferred using one as a whip.)
- Bit of a twinge still in my back (Doing that thing where you expect to step off a kerb that isn't there.)
- Damp patch of carpet (Knocked a drink off the desk. Completely forgetting that I had headphones on was a contributing factor.)
- Crumbs all over my dressing gown (Opening a pack of fig rolls with the cardboard tray the wrong way up. Deciding which fig rolls had too much fluff on them to eat was quite a fun game for a while, but then I got distracted by writing a post and just scoffed them all anyway.)

So, it's not been too bad a day (apart from exhausting my fig roll supply.) :D
I haven't broken anything so far, and I haven't bumped my head on the corner of the sloping attic ceiling yet, either (in my defence, I've only had eight months to get used to walking past it several times a day.) I'm looking forward to enjoying that later.

Trying to be extra careful seems to be when my clumsiness occurs. Sometimes I'll bump into a door or wall by trying to avoid bumping into a person. Or I'll drop something delicate that I was trying to hold carefully. I think I set myself up for these things.

Yes, I've noticed exactly the same thing. If I just let the "auto-pilot" do it, I'm fine; then I'll get too conscious of what I'm doing and it all falls apart.

^ I hope your move goes well. I hate having to get used to a new house too. I spend ages arranging and re-arranging the furniture to try and make the place as "clumsy person friendly" as I can when I first move into a place. It doesn't stop me from getting up to pee in the night and stumbling into walls that shouldn't be there, though! One good thing about my new place is that I have an en-suite bathroom straight through a door from the bedroom - no halls or stairs to negotiate when I'm stumbling around at night. Yay! :D
