Got my results from 23andme:

My Ancestry Composition says:
99.8% East Asian & Native American
0.1% European
0.1% Unassigned

WTF is "UNASSIGNED"???

Extraterrestrial? Uh, I always knew I was different but...

"Unassigned" means "Not specific to any one ethnicity".

... extraterrestrials ... PFFT!

I want to do 23&me too, but it is not in the budget at the moment (I had to really push things to pay for my assessment.)

How long did it take? Is there anything in particular that you've found interesting, looking at the results?

I took 23andme. Very unspecified northern European and a little unspecified European with .1% unspecified. But for the most part I was British. I already know most of my ancestry comes from England.

It takes a few months. I found that some of my DNA compares to Romanians in countries of ancestry part which helps because I have some dark skinned ancestor with interesting characteristics-I think now that I know part of DNA is similar to Romanians that she was a Gypsy. Hey that's as close as finding out as I'm ever gonna come lol-she's not Native American. You get some health results too and its interesting what they know about you just from DNA. They knew my birth weight was less than average but not underweight.

Not all Romanians are Gypsy but they have the highest population of them in the world.

I was joking about the extraterrestrial part.
