I need some help finding clothing that I can wear without feeling suuuper uncomfortable, especially on the bad days! I have a sensory sensitivity with touch, I think, or maybe I just notice how awful my clothing feels more than other people. In any case, I need new clothes and am having trouble finding them.
I used to wear those leggings with pockets, belt loops ad a zipper (but made of stretchy cotton), before that I only wore yoga pants. I just had a major growth spurt, leaving all my pants too short, and they stopped making that model of pants! I have a couple pairs of those colorful girls leggings (cotton, because it is the only fabric I can wear) and a pair of ill fitting jeans that my mother bought me.
I can still wear stuff off of children's lines, in a size 12, 14, or 16, depending on the line. I ordered some stuff from hanna anderson, too. I hear they are supposed to be good with sensory stuff.
I mostly need help finding stuff for people who are sensory sensitive, and have bodies somewhere between woman and girl but not really either one. I am 5'3"-5'4", and have a 26 inch waist with 37 inch hips. I mostly have to wear a belt because I am such an odd size. It doesn't look like that, though, because my hips are pretty narrow, it's my bum that is big and muscular from dancing.
Where do you buy your clothing? Is it good? What do you wear? What do you suggest for me? Thank you.
(Also, ladies, I found a really great bra called "not a bomber" from title nine's "bounce" line of bras. It is all cotton and no wires or anything. It is the only bra I have been comfortable in since I stopped wearing those little cotton under shirts.)

Sorry I can't help you with sensory clothing but thank you for the tip about the bra. Title Nine is great. They have a good variety of quality stuff.

Yes, they really do have great stuff at title nine! It's ok, I think my mother (what a tolerant woman, to put up with my clothing pickiness and hatred of shopping) was able to find some stuff on Gap and Landsend.
I am glad somebody could benefit from the post, though!

I'm glad your mum can help you out. Gap and Landsend have beautiful clothes too. I love their clothes.
