I don't know if this is related to Aspergers, but...

I've been told that I am intense. I asked one person what that means, and he said that, once I get going on a subject, I come on pretty strong. Another person said that it's emotional intensity. I looked that up and don't understand what it is. Can anyone explain to me what being intense means?

an intense person is one who is perceived as not having a lighter side, one with a short fuse, one who seems to smolder at all times, one who never smiles or laughs or shows evidence of mirth. one who tends towards fanaticism, one who perseverates for too long.
