I do not know about any others, but to me, and upon self inspection of my life, I will guess that in general NTs can accomplish many things automatically, things that I must do consciously. So while they are on autopilot, I constantly have the workload of hand flying the aircraft. things like:

1. Knowing which emotion one feels

2. Knowing what to do with or about that emotion

3. Knowing other's emotions and what to do with or about these

4. keeping up with non technical conversation

5. Knowing when to leave, not hanging around all night or until I am tossed out

I know the feeling.
I think life can be so hard sometimes. I just try to go one day at a time

Yes. Generally, there is a understanding in these among NTs that seems to, on a certain level, not exist among aspies. We have to struggle much more to make sense of it all.

When NTs are (comparatively) comfortably engaged in conversation at say, a party, I tend to be more of a observer, if not off to the side, then behaving in a much different manner then most everybody else. I have trouble detecting when to jump in, or when not to jump into a conversation (or what is even an appropriate topic of conversation).

Well since I learned most of my emotions from my mother, books, video games, and tv. I still haven't learned cry when someone in my church body dies. Because I didn't cry a wink when my great grandmother and grandmother died.

Every once in a while, even psychiatrists get it right. 8(

For #1, it IS odd. I might even seem to think MYSELF that I am happy when I am REALLY frustrated.
For #2, some I don't know how to express.
#3 can be daunting at times.
#4? Most of the time I wish I could just AVOID it.
#5 brings back memories. I don't seem to have so much trouble now, but once did a LOT!
