So this topic just cam to mind when I was thinking of what to use for my first post here, so this is it.

There's only one person in my life really who I converse with on the phone (unless it's for getting information, appointments, etc.), that being my mother. When I do talk with her, the conversation normally lasts for about 3 hours. And then we'll go several several months before the next call.

Anyone else here like that? Or is that a more normal attribute?

I had something like that earlier this year. When we finally were together I kind of freaked out and didn't know how to handle it so that ended.

I think long and comfortable conversations that we procrastinate on starting again is common.

I wouldn't say it's something that I necessarily procrastinate on, just that I can go 3 or more months without it
even coming to mind and feels perfectly natural to me.

I just tend to forget, or I'll go to call or text someone and get sidetracked (smartphones aren't kind to ADHD people.)

It doesn't seem that odd to me. You're 31 years old, and your mother likes to check up on you every few months to see how your life is going. Nothing strange about that.
