Sorry I have started a few threads today I am brainstorming.

Anyway I asked this question a few days ago I just thought I would start a poll so we can all get an idea of the percentages involved not been able to form relationships.

The never been in one vote is from me.

Is there a major reason behind that poll?

Age is a big part of the situation as well.
What are the odds that a 50 y.o. has ever been in a relationship, relative to a 18 y.o.

Granted the length of time between ages 13 to 18, is roughly the same as the length of time between 18 and 50.

Subjectively at least...

I'm married. Prior to my husband, I was in several short relationships (under three months) scattered throughout the years, but nothing long-term.

I'm in a relationship right now, and have been in a couple. I didn't date until I was sixteen, and when that broke up it was another six or seven years until I started dating again.
All the guys have been either diagnosed on the spectrum or undiagnosed but probably on the spectrum.

Never been in a relationship.
You could say that I'm too young since I am 16 (I'll turn 17 this year) but the average age for the first relationship for people my age nowdays is around 12-13. So, like my aunt told me two years ago, I am late. As usual

I've been asked out by men that aren't my type. I have started off a relationship then felt too smothered and so I ended it. Maybe I still wasn't ready.

I feel more ready now, but I only tend to unintentionally be attracted to married men, which is a disappointment when I find out they're married. Or I attract married men. At this rate I will never get into a relationship. *sigh*

I've only had 2, one in my sophomore year of college and one that started on Valentine's Day last year, but ended 8 months later. Funny is that I didn't ask these women out, they came and asked me out.

am thirty in one month and have never had a relationship nor friends,am the most extreme form of asexual; having not the slightest hint of sexuality nor understanding of things associated with it.
a lot of autistics think theyre asexual when they just have difficulties around getting to know someone because of their aspergers or classic autism.

a few dating times with men before I came out (nothing serious and they did not work) some short things for a few months.

Then one awful relationship that lasted almost 2 years, very abusive

and one that was great, 12 years, she died due to suicide after she crushed 3 vertebrae in an accident and was laid up for 4 years
