It used to be in the old days when family would frequently drop by, that I kept my place neat as a pin.
But now that all of the family has moved out of state and virtually no one ever comes over, my place turns into a landfill. Then eventually I clean it all up to where it's neat as a pin again. Then it becomes a landfill again. Repeat.
I really don't know why this happens, because I prefer it neat and organized and everything in its place, and it really doesn't require that much effort to maintain it that way.
Landfill. I like that term. My place right now.
I freaking HATE CLUTTER! I wish I could burn my place to the ground as start over.
My Aspie husband is a hoarder, and with s**t executive functioning skills. He has no clue how to clean up. His office has 8 garbage bags of paper. I think it's trash. No food wrappers. "What if I throw something out that is needed?" Short of old taxes forms, I don't care anymore.
Hoarding issues+inability to do anything=a f*****g festival over here.
I fantasize of having a place with white walls and tatami mats, ONLY . That's how much the hoard has burnt me out.
