Aspie mother looking for a job.

I'm trying desperately to look for a job that's suitable for me as an aspie. I'll go for pretty much anything right now. I have to find daycare for my 21 month old daughter, too. The daycare thing makes it even harder for me to find a job. I can't work at night or in the evening, and I need to have proof I have a job before finding affordable daycare for my daughter. If it's not one thing, it's another. Can anyone relate? And I'm curious what kind of job any aspie out there has, so I have an idea what kind of work to look for. Thanks!

Are there any county agencies where you are that'll help with this? Is there a Head Start near you? That's exactly what those daycares are for - your job, till you have a job, is to be out looking for work.

Are there any groups or organizations that serve the interests or needs of the autistic or people with Asperger's in your area?

Would they be able to provide some guidance, if nothing else?

I'm a Physics Technician, which admittedly would be good hours for a mother like yourself and doesn't require a huge deal of interaction with other people, but having some sort of science qualifications are vital so it may not fit you. IDK, otherwise have you considered working with children? I have done in the past and found such work greatly enjoyable, of course that depends on if you like kids and if they fit your specific Aspie traits.
