How do you tell the difference between misophonia and hyperacusis? Is there a difference?

Misophonia is like how I hate eating noises and they make me super anxious. Hyperacusis is like how my mother has problems watching movies in movie theater due to loud volume of sounds that are painfully loud to her.

There is evidence for both hyperacusis and misophonia being more common in ASD. Other sound things that are more common in ASD/BAP are enhanced pitch discrimination and musical memory.
