I detest communal bathrooms...

I have a certain secluded bathroom which i walk a bit further to in order to use instead of using the communal bathroom that is right beside my lab.

I don't care if i'm about to burst with piss and you step on my toe... i will do the pee-pee dance all the way down the hall and take all the weird stares!

Yuck! Public bathrooms are disgusting! I go out of my way not to use one. I try to wait until I am at home. I hate the smell of public restrooms and also hate how filthy they are. People put things in the toilet that aren't flushable and clog the toilets and the mess splashes all over the floor. I often wonder if I am going to need hipboots to go in there.

Public washrooms are disgusting but I tolerate them.

You know, I just posted about how I don't get pictures with words. Words given were like heat and fire. OK, Let me recant that! You just gave me a POWERFUL image! (peepee dance down the hall) LOL! That is going to keep me laughing for a day!

Fun aside though, I feel the same about communal bathrooms. Heck, I went to a boarding school, and took showers at like 3am or 4am! The showers were bad, but at least I could do it when NOBODY was there! Of course, for other bathrooms, I use stalls, wipe down, etc... And sometimes I had to hold it simply because the bathrooms were SO bad.

I hate the bathrooms in my dorm. Late at night after I'm staggering home drunk from a party I sometimes pee on the side of a building if no one is around just because I don't want to use those bathrooms.

Must be even worse for women, you can't use urinals very effectively.

I always take a stall when I can, because I don't like people watching me pee...

Women's bathrooms don't tend to be too bad (at least that's what I've surmised from comparing notes with my husband). Other men have told me that the reason for our differing opinions is poor aim - apparently this is a problem in male restrooms.

Mens bathrooms don't always have THAT problem. That is ANOTHER reason for public urinals. Most are now built such that they are higher, in fact some have lower ones for kids.

ANYWAY, most problems in the MENS rooms, and I guess in the womens rooms, are of another nature.

Yeah, I always use the women's room. Seriously, I agree with everyone's view here. I can't piss when someone else is around, and I really hate being in the room when someone's taking a dump (or vice versa). That said, I liked being so comfortable with whomever I am attached to that there is no shame in continuing conversations in the bathroom, ect.

For me for some reason I don't care if people watch me pee, for example a lot of times at school the guys will only use every other urinal to not be right next to one another and will wait in line, if that is the case and I have to go I'll just simply walk to one of the open ones and use that and not bother to wait in a line, one time the other person next to me left then and went to a different urinal, it was kind of funny but I didn't care or say anything and neither did they. I don't try and look at anyone else when they go though.

Yeah, I try that. But if I try, nothing comes out. In boot camp, you sit on the pot with no seperators between one another. I think I would have gone AWOL then and there, if I had joined.

The bathrooms are always clean when I go in one. Sure I've seen a backed up toilet but I didn't use it. No one does. Heck even people complain about them being a mess.

I ran into a backed up toilette at school recently. I was just blowing my nose, but it made me so disgusted that I tried to flush it - what a mess! Some things just don't make sense like they should.

As a side-note, my uncle once cleared a jam by firing a .45 into it. Worked, but the pot leaked a bit from then on.

Women's restroom stalls are so small that one cannot spin and undress without touching the walls. I shower when I get home.

I would hope you weren't showering in the restroom stall. Though I'm at a loss to understand why you'd spin and undress in one.

I don't like using the restroom at home when someone is in another restroom. We can hear each other. It makes me feel creepy, like they're there with me invisibly.
