I get so confused about my past sometimes. My mom will say one thing and then another. Today she was helping me filling out a form about my child because it was asking about his development and family medical history and one of the questions was if any of the child's parents had history of behavior problems and my mom said I had them. But she told me as a teen I didn't have any and please don't even think I did just because of my school. She also told me then my school thought I had behavior problems. Now she says I had them??? :?
Plus my psychiatrist wrote back in 6th grade about me that my school continues to see me as a behavior problem rather than trying to see it from my perspective. That implies I didn't have them and they thought I did.

I think the most relevant information would be to write "autism" or "Aspergers" or "ASD". You don't have to answer the question exactly as asked, and they likely just want to know what to watch out for in your child. Don't be stuck on whether you were labeled a behavioral problem.

You can also leave questions that upset you blank as long as you don't feel it would put your child at risk. Sometimes it's just a form.

That said if this is a counseling or developmental pediatrician or psychologist I would tell them you have ASD. I've had those type people misinterpret me and be quite cruel before I was diagnosed. You don't need them blaming you for any difficulties out of their own confusion, and if your child has any kind of emotional or behavioral issues you're going to want them to consider ASD early if only to rule in or out.
