Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome.

As well as a visual processing disorder, I also have scotopic sensitivity syndrome. I wear orange glasses when I am reading, and I have an orange-brown tint on my computer screen.

My question: does anyone else with this feel a strong aversion to high-contrast, convoluted images?

I saw a diagram in my textbook that was very convoluted, busy, confusing and rather high contrast, and it made me feel sick, as if I was looking at something really gory. In the end I had to put a piece of paper on top to cover it. I've had this problem many times. I am considering to remove an extractor fan in the kitchen because it elicits the same reaction due to high contrast.

Certain images make me motion sick... without moving.
