Hehe. That reminds me of a meltdown I had many years ago when my VCR ate a few inches of the tape (Red October) that I was watching with a friend. The tape wouldn't eject. While he skipped out to check his laundry, I decided to extract the tape from the VCR by opening it up. In doing so, the tape snapped ... and so did my anger. I ended up fist-punching the VCR's motherboard to a point that it was FUBARed (revenge for all those years of lame hardware and software came rushing back with every "snap" of the chips and circuit boards). Feeling satisfied, I started making some dinner for us. My friend returned and asked very tepidly "what happened?" Hehe. I told him that, after years of "the machines" having their way, I decided to turn the tables and remind "the machines" how vulnerable they actually were.
Since then, I have learned to work around my anger by increasing my blood-sugar and calories, then turning off all noise, and reading or just thinking.
Still, there are times when I would like to smash more machines (or mobile apps these days). Hehe.
