I have a problem where if something is bothering me and I try to forget it, during the night I will have a nightmare in which I meltdown and fight with people about the thing(s) that's bothering me. Then, this dream will cause all of the ideas to resurface and I end up having the same meltdown from my dream in real life the next day because I will wake up angry thinking about the things that got me mad in the nightmare, which I had been supressing.

How do I make these dreams go away so I won't have a meltdown and annoy my mother?

Try to deal with things directly instead of attempting to suppress them.

I have the odd dream about an emotional meltdown every now and again. I suppress the meltdown in my waking life to prove that I have it together. I've had dreams where I've cried about things that I'm too cautious to cry over during my waking hours.
