say i was wondering if anyone here wore warm clothes, like jackets during the summer and shorts and sandals during the winter. i use to wear a jacket in the summer, and not a little one either it was very big, i wasnt to overly concerd about it looking goofy as i also slept in it sometimes. of course i dont do this anymore, i think i only did it because jackets had alot of pockets that i needed.

I wear sandals in the rain, and I don't own a jacket.

I didn't own a jacket I bought to wear, etc... Until about 3 years ago. I never wore one of my own will until about 3 years ago.(You know how mothers are! And THAT was when I was in CA! I usually got away with just a windbreaker though. They are just good for keeping the wind and rain off you, and you can practically see through them) I didn't wear them more than a week a year until just THIS year. Why THIS year? Because I was wearing one back to indiana just in case, as it is the easiest way, and I had to walk for like 30 minutes in -16F weather, and then stay in my car in 9F weather for an hour.(The battery was dead and I waited for help with NO radio, heater, etc...) Anyway, I became a but hyper sensitive for a while, and figured I could use a little more protection. This week was a LOT better! Yesterday the low was only like 16F, so I am back to short sleeved shirts and NO jacket! BTW 32F is the freezing point of water.

I wear big boots, fur coats (faux), and scarves year round. Sandals in winter too, but I generally spend my winters in milder climates.

Nope. I wear what the feeling (and not the weather) demand. If it's a wool cape in summer - so be it. If I must be barefoot in only shorts outside in the winter - fine.
