You know, as someone on the Spectrum, I feel as if we're considered a minority. And I admit, living as a minority isn't fun. But I wonder...

...Why are we so hated?

It just confuses me to my boiling point. We're bullied, abused, treated poorly, and hated. But why? Are we really that bad in the public eye? What did we do wrong? I don't understand it. I'm not sure if I ever will.

I apologize for this thread being so negative. But I don't get it one bit. Why do you think this is such a thing? And please, no angry responses. I just want the opinions as to why this is true.

Again, I'm sorry. But can someone try to come up with (a) reason(s)?

We had an ongoing long thread about this question in the past and as I can recall, one of the best theories that was suggested is the Uncanny Valley theory.
