My meltdowns have been more severe and more frequent lately and I am wondering if there are any helpful videos (or other formats) that could explain meltdowns and what to not do during one, for a significant other. I have come across videos on youtube (mostly about children) but there's so many, and a lot of the ones I've watched have endorsed behavior that (from my perspective) seems to make the autist feel worse. Are there any you would recommend?
*Note: I'm still working up the courage to tell him about this, but I would like to have links on-hand when I do. While I can pass for normal, during meltdowns I appear very low functioning (for lack of a better term...what's the PC term?).*
